Fantastic Camp
Liked: We loved everything about this camp, from the stunning views to the amenities. The toilets and showers were exceptional. It was great to have a mini market on site. We didnt have time to get to the pools but we would love to come back and stay here for longer next time. The restaurant was superb as well.
Comfort pitch
Nice and cool
Liked: A very pleasant place to stay with family. There were many campers with children, a good outdoor playground, and an additional indoor play area. We appreciated the clean toilets and washing facilities, which were beautifully designed.
Could be better: I understand that the transfer service is not the campground's responsibility, but please be aware of it. The service is irregular, unreliable, and does not follow the schedule. We ended up paying for a day ticket twice and had to return on our own. The campground is 2.5 km from the city center, with an uphill walk.

We are situated in the heart of the Dolomites, surrounded by captivating mountains which are full of history. Here, ancient cultures and traditions gracefully combine with innovation and technology, and legends come close to reality. Whether you bring your caravan, camper van or tent, or you prefer to stay in an apartment, chalet or room, Camping Vidor is the perfect getaway where you can escape, rediscover peace and tranquillity, and get back in touch with nature.
Str. de Ruf de Ruacia 15, 38036, San Giovanni di Fassa, Italy
From the A22 motorway, take the exit at the Egna-Ora-Termeno toll gate, then continue on the Val di Fiemme e Fassa highway (no. 48) to the centre of Pozza. At the roundabout, take the first exit for Meida and Valle S. Nicolò, crossing the bridge and continue straight on for 2km.
Camping Vidor can be found in the heart of the Fassa Valley in Trentino-Alto Adige surrounded by a unique landscape, in particular the Rosengarten massif. The Dolomites and their beauty were recognised in 2009 as a World Heritage site, thanks to their sharp peaks, jagged ridges and inimitable colours. The ideal place for mountain lovers, who’ll find an exceptional number of activities to which they can dedicate themselves. Summer in the Fassa Valley offers so many opportunities that guests at Camping Vidor can organise holidays packed with unique experiences: trekking is ideal for those who want to discover mountain lakes and the region’s idyllic chalets. There are many via ferratas (equipped routes) for climbing. There are also three routes starting from the campsite for lovers of mountain biking and cycling; the Fassa Valley has hundreds of routes. Lovers of downhill biking too can slalom between the rocks and relish the natural descents of these splendid mountains. Also near the campsite are a riding school, a golf course, ideal Nordic walking routes and – for those who want to take off – Col Rodella and Belvedere are great destinations for paragliding. So choosing to holiday at Camping Vidor means choosing a range of exceptional outdoor possibilities, now enhanced by indoor ones too, making the campsite the ideal destination in every season of the year!
