Liked: spacious pitches

Could be better: the site looks very tired indeed - needs some updating and would not say it compares to other 5 star Castel sites at all

Liked: This was one of our best trips away in many years. The site is amazing.. we had a touring pitch with our own immaculate (looks brand new) shower & toilet block on our pitch. Reception staff were 1st class. Bar / restaurant staff 1st class. Huge pitch. I really can’t think of anything negative to say. It was boiling hot so the swimming pool was amazing. Just have to say thank you for making our holiday amazing!! Pete & Lisa

Liked: As we had a fully serviced site with our own facilities, it was excellent. General facilities are a little spread out, but clean and well maintained. Restaurant and Take Away service good value and flavourful. Helpful and pleasant staff too

Could be better: Grounds are a little tired - but the heatwave will not have helped that.

Liked: We had a great couple of stays, very welcoming site with excellent facilities. We have visited quite a few times over the last 25 years and have always enjoyed it. Friendly and helpful staff make visiting a pleasure.

Liked: A peaceful 7 days, secluded pitch with a very good bar and terrace. Great food

Could be better: Shower and toilet blocks are showing their age.

Liked: Great shaded outdoor pool, as the weather was very hot 38c during our stay. Very pleasant and cool indoor pool, good walks around the ponds to exercise our dog in well maintained greenery. Lovely bar/restaurant

Could be better: Larger outdoor exercise area for dogs to run off their lead.

Liked: Large pitch and shaded which we needed for our dog. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet at night.

Could be better: None that I can think of - perfect for us.

Liked: Nice staff, good pool complex but other facilities are a little tired but very clean.
