Could be better: No pool open No draught beer No ice cream Nowhere to sit on the terrace at the bar

Liked: Although it was extremely hot we had a lovely pitch under the trees. Pools were great - plenty of sun beds/seats and sun shades. Showers and toilets- very good although the mixer valves on the showers were a little temperamental. We do like the shower cubicles with basins .We had a takeaway meal - very tasty - lots of cycling on quiet roads and tracks. Would definitely go back

Could be better: Upgrade of valves to showers.

Liked: Beatrice the owner was always smiling and gave us a wave everyday. Everyone on the reception team were very friendly and helpful. The maintenance team was great

Could be better: Difficult to answer. For the one night we stay it was great.

Liked: We had a warm welcome from friendly helpful staff. This was our fifth visit so they did remember us. As it was early in the season, the site was peaceful but slightly busier over the Pentecost weekend.

Liked: Very happy with accommodation. Nice location near the lake. Well-equipped and clean.

Could be better: I would have expected a better stocked shop, but perhaps this was because we were at the end of the season. It would have been helpful to have a EV charging point.

Liked: The beautiful gardens and shrubs so well tended and looked after.

Could be better: Restaurant area and food.

Liked: A very pleasant site with easy access to many local places worth visiting and sufficient on-site activities to keep us busy on days when we didn't want to travel. The cost was very reasonable and, given the high quality of the site and welcoming staff, we would certainly consider returning again in future.

Could be better: One thing that could be improved would be to have an on-site shop for the basics: bread, milk, eggs, bacon, an onion or two, that sort of thing. There was a daily bread/croissant ordering service which we used and worked well, but to have the ability to drop in and get a few things for a meal would be nice and save having to rush out to the local hypermarche for little things.

Could be better: Toilet facilities outdated and cramped
