Liked: Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back, it’s perfect for a stop off, very clean sanitary block

Liked: Located in a nice quiet area, easy arrival procedure and friendly staff. Clean facilities. We enjoyed our stay.

Could be better: The shower/ toilet block closest to the recycling, could do with upgrading and maybe a few more toilets. A bit more general gardening and tidying around the tracks/roads leading to the pitches.

Liked: the privacy of each caravan the pool

Could be better: blinds on the bathroom and toilet windows

Liked: Territory, staff, overall cleanliness efforts, generous and well-shaded pitches, pools

Could be better: The restaurant is only a bistro, really. We were also surprised, as there was no castle (we've been to a couple of other Les Castels sites, and all of them were actual castles)

Could be better: Improve pitch size. Our pitch was supposed to be large but we were squeezed in with no defined borders, people walking through the pitch and washing hanging across a ‘supposed’ border. No privacy at all. Inadequate pitch for the size of our caravan and high cost of it. Inadequate room for parking for adjacent pitches meant cars parked on our pitch on arrival. Too noisy with far too many children running around and on bikes.

Liked: Nice location. The little building where the bbq was, was a surprise.

Could be better: I was expecting to swim in the little lake. There I was misguided. The pool is to small for the camping site. In entrance of the pool is messy wirh all those slippers. 5 stars, ok but for every activity you had to pay extra. You had to pay for Wifi.

Liked: Relaxed atmosphere of the site and the well portioned pitches with plenty of shade. Lots of facilities- pools, the bar, fishing lake, and kayaking lake. A well looked after site with polite, helpful staff.

Could be better: Maybe a few more toilets and dish washing facilities. Sometimes a queue and the water wasn’t always hot for washing up. A more extensive shop on site. There aren’t any easily walkable shops so reliant on car. A freezer to freeze ice packs would be good.

Liked: Beautiful camping: green, nice atmosphere and sports pitches like soccer, tennis, table tennis and swimming.

Could be better: Swimmingpool is closed at 19.30pm, that is too early in summertime.
