**Our daily Hire Rate includes Fully Comprehensive Insurance and Breakdown Cover**
Welcome to your next glamourous travel holiday experience! We like 5 star, and that's what we are offering you! Everything we have thought of to make our own holidays in Cornish better, is included to be the same for you! And there is no extra charge for any of those things - -such as bedding and towels, sundries and etc. All you need to put in, is the fuel and your 'stuff'!
We've camped, caravanned, rented cottages, but holidaying in our new motorhome has been the best of all.
From the moment you clip your belt and head off down the road, you will be transported into the world of Bailey quality motorhome holidays. It won't be long before you get your first wave from another motor homer officially enfolding you into the motor homing 'CLUB'. Remember to wave back!
No, this is not a Bailey advert!
This motorhome is great to drive, with a good size engine and horsepower, also a rear camera and satnav to make the journey easier.
*****One thing we should mention right away...is that you will need to have the C1 category on your driving licence to be able to drive and be insured to drive this Motorhome as it is over the 3.5 tonne threshold. - *Our daily hire rate includes insurance and breakdown cover*
If your car licence was issued before January 1997, then you will have this category on your licence as you have automatic rights to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes (known as ‘grandfather rights’).
If your licence was issued after this date then you must have qualified for the C1 category by taking a test to be able to drive 7.5 ton or Class 3 trucks. If you are not sure what you are licenced to drive, you can 'view your driving licence information' on the gov.uk website. *****
We chose this Bailey after a lot of looking around and research, because it really is top quality luxury. The set out is perfect for any family with a living space which is compact enough to fit into a motorhome, yet with every bit enough space to feel spacious.
The front passenger area behind the cab, seatbelts four people with a table, like a train carriage, perfect for travelling games and later mealtimes. This area also converts to the double bed with another double bed which drops down from above.
The larger open lounge area at the back easily seats 6 or more around a table for dinner, and converts really easily into a King-size bed. There is a huge amount of cupboard, under seat and wardrobe space, most of which doesn't even get used, so bring everything you want especially for the kids - you won't need the kitchen sink though! Honestly there is plenty of room, better to have it and not use it, than not bring it and wish you had!
The kitchen has a 4 ring hob, a large oven and grill, giant fridge with 2 shelf freezer, a microwave, sink of course, removable drainer and extendable work surface. We have kitted 'Cornish!' out with all the pans, cooking trays, utensils, dishes, cutlery and kitchen essentials we mostly forgot about when going away the first few times... and ended up in the supermarket as the first stop - which I actually quite liked! So this has now become a bit of a routine!
There is a TV with DVD player and aerial etc. There are several USB charging points around the motorhome.
There is a spacious shower room with loo, sink, and a large cupboard.
Heating and Hot Water are provided via Gas or Electricity. The 'Master Operating System' is very easy to operate.
On the back is a 4 bike carrier.
The Garage can be reached from either side at the back of the van and so is long enough to store snowboards and skis, paddles for kayaks, kayaks, the BBQ and any other outdoor gear you might like to take away with you.
We have dogs and take ours away in the van, so are happy to consider dogs! They will have to travel in a dog cage at the back. They are not allowed on the seats. We use the front table and seating area as a bed for them at night - with their own mats of course and that is 'their' place, so we would suggest you follow the same guideline.
One big boon we think we can offer, is that because we are already in Cornwall, if you were planning a holiday in our County or nearby then you don't have to use all your hired mileage allowance getting here! You can also leave your car here on the drive if you want to, there is plenty of space.
We decided to blank a whole day between each hirer, so that we will have plenty of time to ensure the Motorhome is in peak condition each time it goes out. This means you will be able to make the most of the first day of hire. Ideally it works best for us if you are able to come to collect the Motorhome in the morning from 9am. as It takes about 1 hour for the handover so you probably will only get going at about 10am. We would like to be flexible about the drop off and collection times according to your holiday and travel plans and our commitments though, we would confirm in advance with you when the booking is made - so we hope that is helpful too. If you are thinking of hiring our motorhome but there is something else affecting your decision, send us a message, perhaps we can think of a solution.
I've tried to think of everything in the ad, but new to motor homing and advertising, I may have missed things, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions and we'll be pleased to answer.
Whether you hire from us or another Gobooney host, we hope you have a great trip and bet you get the motor homing bug like we did. It's great!
Best Regards
Antoinette and Gareth Williams
