Liked: Very good camping but best was the staff. Very service minded, attentive and bilingual.

Could be better: The service houses could use a touch-up but they were clean so not of any urgency.

Liked: We only stayed for one night on the way back and got a lovely big grassy pitch with easy access to campsite facility.

Could be better: Toilet paper had run out in the morning and not been replaced but not a biggy

Liked: Lovely location, nice sized pitches with lots of choice of sun/shade. Friendly team members.

Could be better: Toilet blocks need major improvement. No hand soap for 2 days in ladies toilets. Men’s shower block closed for a full day and the hand dryer in the men’s toilets did not work. Generally dirty and could do with more cleaning.

Liked: Nice pitches, open atmosphere, good enough facilities, helpful and friendly staff, super surroundings and great location in the region.

Could be better: Only small details, not worth mentioning

Liked: Super site, plenty to do, great walks, lake, cycle all nearby. Short drive to the town which has interesting history plus a large supermarket! The site was clean with plenty of showers etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Liked: The location is really nice, right by the lake. It remained a good temperature in the forest even though it was a heatwave. The freezer for ice packs and the microwave were good for us. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The pitches were a great size (so huge compared to other places).

Could be better: Toilet seats and toilet paper. There was a microwave in the ladies' toilet, which was very odd! I think to improve your eco-credentials you should do food waste composting.

Liked: Large pitch and loved the hedging between the pitches to give a bit of privacy. Fantastic location next to the lake

Could be better: The toilet and shower block nearest to us was out of order. There was limited toilets and showers available to use which sometimes resulted in waiting for a toilet or shower. Otherwise really good and would consider coming back
