Liked: Location and the new demarcation on pitches, although for a caravan the pitches are not wide enough

Could be better: Better chemical toilet waste point, wider pitches

Liked: The reception staff were helpfully

Could be better: We knew we were arriving late - we had pin for entry and pitch no but knew there could be a problem from past experience. We tried to phone you to confirm but you never responded. When we arrived someone else had taken our pitch. He was rude and abusive. We had to tour the site in the dark to find an alternative- the site was full so it was difficult. You need to protect reserved pitches and answer the phone.

Liked: Showers were good, location good for Tours. Buses very busy but still can walk in but takes 1 hour, vet around the corner for AHC wormer etc.

Could be better: Reception was not open when advertised, and reception staff could be more friendly

Liked: Close to river

Could be better: Toilets and showers were not particularly clean. Several cabins full of constantly shouting, screeching teenagers on a school or sports trip made for a not relaxing afternoon, evening or morning!

Liked: A quiet relaxing site

Could be better: Water point signposted clearly and chemical waste disposal signposted as I was asked by three campers where these were located

Liked: A lovely site right on the river and with brilliant amenities, including a really nice cafe serving hot food in the evening. We will definitely be coming back.

Could be better: Tried to look at booking for next year but the site just says 'dates unavailable' for every date, so it'd be good to have more information, also on the cost of the lodges and small houses.

Liked: A lovely campsite .only issue we had was the one toilet got blocked and toilet waste faeces and paper flooded the toilet and showers block .when I reported it to one of the young man working there cleaning the chalets he didn't seem that bothered and blame people for tipping their caravan toilet waste down them causing it to block . The mess was there for around 5hrs and was still there when we left . We spent only 1 night there as we were making our way home from the tour de France.

Could be better: Clean the toilet block

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful setting, will definitely return for longer next time. The pizza in the snack bar was delicious as was the local craft beer. Lovely Bistro just outside of campsite, with music and set on the bank of The Loire river, want to explore more next time.

Liked: The reception, the location, the plots and the cleanliness.

Could be better: Last time I said I didn’t like the help yourself to plots policy. This time they allocated which i do prefer.

Liked: Location near village, good facilities, pool, friendly helpful staff

Could be better: Bar
