I am Marije, a single 60+ camper.
I have had my camper for 4 years now; I actually bought it as a temporary home until I could buy a house. During those 3 months, I spent plenty of time at beautiful campsites. Now I have it for, in my opinion, what it is meant for: holidays. I love traveling with my dog, a chocolate brown Labrador, and my grey friend. Together, we enjoy this relaxed way of traveling and the beautiful places. The holiday starts the moment we drive out of the street. I actually use it mostly in the Netherlands for many short trips of a few days. We also love going to France. I prefer to stay at a free campsite, and yes, there really are still quite a few nice, small, quiet free spots. You can also find beautiful spots for your camper at many marinas. Since my camper sits idle on the driveway for a large part of the year, I think it is a good idea to let others enjoy the feeling of freedom that a holiday in a camper offers as well.
