The handover of Betty was easy and Tom pointed out the essentials and also the quirks of the motorhome (my fave was the wooden sword used to keep a blind shut) to make our trip easier. It’s obviously a well used and well loved vehicle. As a family of 5 we travelled from Cornwall to Norfolk, York and Stafford during our trip and love the freedom of a motorhome. The layout worked well for older children who didn’t want to share a bed - individual bunks have them their own space. The weather was super hot (over 30C) and so we needed to travel with windows open which was a little noisy on faster roads, and the fridge had a meltdown due to the high temps meaning it was out of action for the second half of the trip - I don’t believe this is a reflection on Tom, everything was serviced and working before we left- it was just an unseasonably hot week. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would recommend Tom and his motorhome, he was really flexible, helpful and responsive when we had any queries before and during our stay. Thank you 😀 June 2026
