I owned and managed a Gym/Health Club for 30 years until ironically I fell ill and needed a kidney transplant, then a knee replacement then with my low immune system I now have outbreaks of Skin Cancer which has made me unfit for work and risky for me to holiday abroad especially.
I love the outdoors and have had some fantastic holidays travelling to some amazing places including, Diving the Barrier Reef, 4Day trek to Machu Picchu, 6 day trek and camping in the Grand Canyon, crawling through underground tunnels in Vietnam, Diving courses in Australia, Thailand, Dominican Republic and Turkey. Cuba and Raffles Hotel in Singapore I also enjoyed.
I spend a lot of time in my garage doing mechanical projects including my 1967 Ford Mustang I’m restoring, and before that my camper van conversion.
These days I manage to do what I can

Highly recommended!!! Kevin was so helpful to a couple of first timers, he went through everything we needed at handover, and the van was absolutely spotless. Van was great, just what we needed for the 2 of us and a little pup. We spent the weekend driving to Norfolk and back with a few stops along the way. Already got our next trip booked in with Kevin’s van and we can’t wait! September 2026

We had the most amazing experience hiring the campervan! It was perfect for our Scottish road trip and had everything we needed for a week exploring the Highlands. The whole process was really straightforward, and the van was great to drive and easy to use. We especially appreciated how helpful and responsive Kevin was throughout. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure you have a good experience. Highly recommended! We had such an amazing time travelling the NC500 in Kevin’s camper van. He is such a lovely gentleman who made us feel at ease by explaining everything we needed to know before we set off. The van was spotless and well looked after, we had lots of comments about how great the van looked. It was well equipped and very comfortable. I would definitely hire this beautiful camper van again. Great camper Van and Kevin is nothing short of a legend. Really helpful and kind and perfect host. Called a couple of days in advance of booking to confirm all ok and if we needed anything and what time we would be arriving to collect. Van was spotless and lots of Van envy on the site we were at in Durham. Would 100% book again. Beautiful van and a great find. Smooth booking from start to finish. 5 stars 🌟 July 2026

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Kevin was so kind and accommodating and really prioritised our experience. We hired the van for my husbands 40th and travelled all over with our 10 year old daughter and adult labrador. It was perfect for us. June 2026

Kevin was very helpful answering questions before we arrived and then gave us a very thorough handover, so we felt fully prepared for our first campervan trip. We headed off on the NC500 and had a fantastic time, highly recommend doing the circuit in May! A quick blast on the diesel heater was really nice on the colder mornings too. June 2026

Really positive experience hiring this camper van. Kevin couldn’t have been more accommodating & professional. He took the time to show all the components necessary for taking the van out on the road which put me at ease & set the whole trip off on an affirming note. The van is in great shape & handles really well. She got us to our destinations while providing a top base & some really pleasant nights sleeps. The fridge was so useful to be able to have cold drinks at hand with ample space for various meals in there. The pop top roof provides more space than expected when inside. Would do it all again & would like to. Would highly recommend ⛅️ June 2026

Kevin was a fantastic host. He made our first experience in a campervan really easy. He was very friendly and accommodating and he gave clear simple instructions with what needed to be done. The van itself was great and had everything we needed. Very meticulously maintained snd equipped and ofcourse it's an eye catcher on the roads. We went away to ulswater and had a brilliant time. We have been recommending to all our friends and family. May 2026
