The entire experience from the ease of booking in the first instance to collecting the van from Patrick was seamless. Patrick took the time to explain and demonstrate how things worked in the van and this meant that when we pitched up at the site on our first night we were able to quickly set up the van ready to first of all sit round the table playing cards before setting up to get into bed. After collecting the van we set off for Alton Towers and had booked into the site 1/2 a mile from the theme park. We arrived there around 8pm after a smooth and very comfortable drive, as it’s an automatic it’s like a big go kart, so easy to drive! After a fun filled day at Alton Towers we were heading to Berkshire to watch our daughter play in the woman’s U18 6 Nations rugby festival held at Wellington College! Unfortunately due to being Easter weekend we couldn’t get booked on a site as everywhere was looking for bookings for the entire weekend rather than one night bookings. We chose to spend the night at the Moto services at Reading and despite not having access to an electric hook up we were able to function normally with the use of the 60 hour leisure battery. After watching our daughter play against Italy we travelled back north with the option of staying again at a service station should I get too tired to continue driving. We made it all the way back to Glasgow, again after an extremely comfortable drive and this gave us the Sunday to ensure the van was in a suitable condition to return on to Patrick on the Monday! Will definitely book again in the future, a wonderful van that gave us the freedom to travel at leisure with the option to stop whenever we wanted knowing we’d have a comfortable night’s sleep regardless!
