What an experience. we hired robbie at the start of October and drove him up to the yorkshire dales and york. Andy went through everything thoroughly before we left and was responsive when we messaged. The van is really comfortable to drive and be a passenger in. We cooked a few meals in the van and there was plenty of supplies to be able to do this. The fridge is a really good size and we fitted everything we needed into it. He had everything you could need. Plenty of storage under the bed and the shower and toilet were really handy to have also. It was our first time hiring a van and we now have the bug although i think we have been spoilt with Robbie. We were campervan newbies and Andy and Robbie made the experience a really good one. Andy’s handover was great - and he had useful information in the van (as well as things usefully labelled) so you couldn’t go wrong. Andy was available if you had any queries while you were away (we did - our own ignorance!!). We travelled to York to a serviced pitch, which worked well. We had a lovely day touring York and then back to Robbie for the evening. Robbie is well equipped - even has WiFi, which was a bonus we hadn’t expected, especially as we ended up in a poor signal area. The bed is out all the time so you don’t need to keep putting it up and down and there is loads of storage. The shower worked really well and was so much nicer than trekking off to a public shower block. The full size fridge freezer was also something we didn’t expect and Andy had kindly popped some ice cubes in before we left so we could have a G&T as soon as we arrived! Highly recommend Robbie! Die Übergabe war entspannt und unkompliziert. Andy hat das Wohnmobiel für uns so vorbereitet das wir auch ohne Campingplatz das Wochenende verbringen konnten Alles wurde kurz erläutert und falls man doch noch Rückfragen hat gibt es einen Leitfaden zu den verschiedenen Geräten. Wir sind nach Snowdonia gefahren und gewandert. Mit dem Wohnmobiel konnte man gut am Meer stehen ohne auf einen Campingplatz zu verweilen. Zur Leerung der Abwasser einfach einen der zahlreichen gut geführten Campingplatz anfahren und gegen eine Gebühr kann man dort alles entsorgen. Das Wohnmobiel war für so ein Wanderwochenende völlig ausreichend. Das Wohnmobiel ist besonders da es ein ordentlich gepflegtes Wohnmobiel ist und allen Komfort bietet den man benötigt. Andy’s camper van ‘Robbie’ was an absolute joy to rent. We are new to the camper van game and loved every minute of it. The van is very well equipped and so comfortable with the added bonus of a toilet and shower. Andy was so lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed and knew how everything worked. We would definitely hire this van again without hesitation 😊 July 2024
