Liked: Excellent clean facilities and beautiful location. Reception staff very helpful and cleaning staff were very friendly while carrying out excellent work.

Could be better: Making dog owners bag up dog excrement and dispose in a dog waste bin. It was very sad to see a lot of dog waste on the lower levels and riverside. Also some bins to be placed near the lower levels as a fair amount of garbage is left behind by some inconsiderate people.

Could be better: The steepness of the site is not clear when booking and I really struggled following a knee replacement. Parking is not always beside your accommodation and the steps made loading and unloading the car tricky. Despite the camp being busy, it is disappointing that the snack bar remained shut until high season, the bar didn't open until 4pm and restaurant didn't open until 8pm.

Liked: Our pitch is spacious. We are literally ON the river. Great electric and WiFi. The facilities are very modern and well maintained. Pool is clean. Staff are very helpful! We have had a great stay. We even chose to stay an extra 2 nights.

Could be better: Snack bar isn't great but honestly, that is just such an insignificant thing. The place is great.

Liked: really really great stay. Campsite is amazing, facilities amazing. Really can’t find anything negative to say at all.

Liked: We spent 4 nights at Blachas and thoroughly enjoyed it. The site is well run with very friendly staff. The pool is quite big and a lovely temperature. We ate at the snack bar and the restaurant and found both to be very good quality at a very reasonable price. We did the 23km kayak organised through Blachas, which was great fun. It’s a beautiful location. Very busy around the area, but chilled on the campsite.

Could be better: The only thing we found was that evening entertainment started very late which meant it finished after we weee in bed (after 11pm - maybe that’s just our Brit time zone!)
