Could be better: Beds are very noisy and uncomfortable, the accommodation on stilts is ok but needs refurbishment. The wooden walkway was poorly lit in the evening which is a bit dangerous as it’s about 1m off the ground. The food in the cafe was poor.

Liked: The campsite was clean and friendly Really enjoyed our stay

Liked: Unusual accommodation on stilts giving you a fantastic view over the lake. Our teenaged children loved the pool. It was nice to be surrounded by chickens, sheep and goats.

Could be better: The only slight grumble is that the kitchen is a tiny bit small. Just 2 small hobs. Not a huge problem but tricky to cook with 2 normal sized pans. The pool isn’t huge but is perfectly adequate.

Liked: Very welcoming friendly staff, site appeared neat and tidy

Liked: Super camp site in a nice quiet location. Sanitary block practical and clean. Pitches were an okay size

Could be better: The wifi on offer was close to dial up speeds.

Liked: The greeting by the reception team was excellent and helpful. Facilities were good and clean but showing the need for a little more maintenance.

Could be better: A dedicated storage area to remove the clutter from the club bar

Could be better: Wi-Fi needs investment

Liked: Clean and comfortable and very quiet and relaxing

Could be better: A kettle would be useful!

Liked: Generally site clean and well kept.

Could be better: Only 3 showers in between the two blocks and both shower blocks could do with being larger and updated. No facility to dry hand after using the toilet

Liked: Handy for Mers-les-Bains and Calais. Cycle path nearby.
