Liked: We stayed for 3 nights in our campervan as we made our way back to Cherbourg. The pitch was large enough for our needs and the facilities (showers, toilets, pool, bar) were excellent. The staff were always helpful and visible around the site. This year's change to number plate recognition entry and exit was a great idea. Monday night's oysters and sing-along is brilliant and great value. This campsite is an excellent stop-over before the ferry, and Saint Vaast is a beautiful village and port.

Liked: The site is a mixture of chalets, smaller mobile homes, and pitches for camper vans or caravans and finally tents. The site has a very nice swimming pool, with sun-beds and umbrellas. There are children’s play area and room, and sports area. There is a bar and small shop on site. What we liked was that the restaurants and bars are only a few minutes walk away in the town and Quayside. The site is right next to the sea but there is no beach here that you can swim from, it’s too rocky and shallow, the tides are very big here.

Could be better: Cycle hire? EV charging points? Although, we don’t have an EV, yet and my wife doesn’t cycle. Secure gated access to foot path overlooking the sea? It is a shame the beach is not suitable for swimming, but I know that is beyond your control.

Liked: Excellent campsite, good spacious pitch , good facilities, good access to St Vaaste, Ile Tatihou and bus to Barfleur. Reception people helpful.

Liked: Friendly staff, good facilities, good size emplacements. Proximity to the town centre.

Could be better: Washers to some of the wash hand basins need replacing (a minor annoyance)

Liked: Able to order early morning bread and croissants wash a nd toilet facilities Special thanks to all camp staff who were all extremely kind and helpful

Could be better: Keep the small snack bar open until mid September level off some of the uneven pitches so large puddles don't form after rain There had been a lot of rain prior to our arrival and we found large puddles had formed in the centre of our pitch due to uneven ground also noticed other pitches had same problem

Liked: Very convenient for the town and walks to the peninsular/hogue. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Nice pool and basic family friendly bar serving snacks in the evening. Showers and toilets very clean and adequate number to provide for all.

Could be better: See below re pitch.

Liked: Nice upgrade to the wash block. Town always something on. Beaches close. Close to Cherbourg ferries. Very pleasant English speaking reception team.

Liked: Everything. Great clean facilities. Well kept sites with easy access to water and electricity

Could be better: Signage for recycling could be improved

Liked: This site is in a great location and very convenient for St Vaast

Could be better: 1. There is no tap which can take a hose so we had to fill our on-board water tank using water bags. 2. Some pitches are really small 3. Hot water supply to showers and wash basins intermittent 4. High season prices start earlier than the rest of France

Liked: Good staff, pitches spacious, level and in good condition. Nice planting round the site. Excellent location to walk the dog or visit the town and harbour. Cost of the stay was good value.

Could be better: People wash their hands at the sink with soap near the toilets which is also used for washing up - doesn’t seem hygienic.
