Liked: Excellent site, we don't do a lot of campsites possible to have a particular pitch which they allocated to us. It has a nice heated pool which was little used when we were there so it was possible to actually swim. Excellent site.

Could be better: Some actual turn on water taps rather than the push type. Water pressure is also a bit low on some water stations.

Liked: This is a great little site in the lovely seaside town of St Vaast La Hougue. A convenient first/last stop if you are using Cherbourg ferry. Lovely harbour town with good restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Liked: This time we stayed for a total of 4 nights. The first night we stayed in the Aire attached to the campsite and the following nights we were on the proper site. The site is clean, well maintained with friendly staff and good clean facilities.

Could be better: Cannot think of any improvements that could be made.

Liked: The campsite is in an excellent location close to the centre of SVLH and with walking/cycle routes nearby. It is a very well maintained site with large pitches and good facilities

Could be better: I don’t like unisex toilets and showers

Liked: Able to order early morning bread and croissants wash a nd toilet facilities Special thanks to all camp staff who were all extremely kind and helpful

Could be better: Keep the small snack bar open until mid September level off some of the uneven pitches so large puddles don't form after rain There had been a lot of rain prior to our arrival and we found large puddles had formed in the centre of our pitch due to uneven ground also noticed other pitches had same problem

Liked: We have been visiting for many years now, due to the campsite's ideal location. It is on the coast, is quiet and yet just a walk away from town with the harbour, shops and cafes. The campsite itself has a playground, clean facilities, swimming pool and bar/restaurant.

Could be better: When I left, I saw a sign on reception about ordering bread and breakfast for the following day. Had I seen this when I arrived (it was not there) we would have ordered every day.

Liked: We had a wonderful relaxing few days here. It’s a beautiful area and the town and port are a must see.

Could be better: Access to some of the pitches in a large motorhome can be tricky

Liked: Very convenient for the town and walks to the peninsular/hogue. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Nice pool and basic family friendly bar serving snacks in the evening. Showers and toilets very clean and adequate number to provide for all.
