Liked: Nice quiet site

Could be better: Don’t lock gate at 10pm for pedestrians

Liked: Large well kept hedged pitches. Nice clean pools with lots of sun lounges. Terrific Calzone pizza at bar restaurant served by friendly staff. Clean toilets and showers.

Could be better: No standing water taps. Had to use sink at toilet block to fill water bottle. Washing up area delivered only lukewarm water

Liked: Booked for three nights and enjoyed it so much we added an extra two nights to our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant, albeit with a limited menu but large portion sizes. I pointed out to reception a small defect in the disabled shower room where the hose was worn through and leaking. It was replaced within an hour! Can’t get much better than that.

Could be better: Not much - all the basics were there and the staff were cheerful and helpful.

Liked: Nice, clean, well looked-after site and facilities. Very helpful reception team. Nice walk along river and steep climb to castle ruin.
