Liked: The pitch sizes were good and the toilets and washing up areas were very clean. The lady on reception (despite my awful French and her lack of English) was very helpful and friendly. Proximity to the lake was great and it was an easy walk into town. Unfortunately due to bacteria the lake was closed but I am sure it’s brilliant when open. If we were in the area we would stay again.

Could be better: Only 2 tiny issues which would be great if addressed: The temperature of the shower water was HOT and there was no way to cool it down. The taps in the washing up area dripped wasting a lot of water. They were difficult to turn fully off to stop the drips but I believe that these are being replaced.

Liked: the cleanliness, the restaurant, the lake side walks for our two puppies

Could be better: Toilet block is possibly the worst we’ve ever seen in Europe. The showers have a push button for a couple of seconds of limited cold water. No toilet seats and still using squat toilets in 2025? No tap for connecting water hose to fill Motorhome.

Liked: We were greeted by a warm friendly welcome, a good start. The site is clean, the facilities are kept warm, it was quiet. The lake is very nice too, and there's everything you need close by.

Liked: We stayed for 4 nights in our camping car with 2 dogs. The location is superb with the beautiful lake beside it where we had some lovely walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful including letting us change to a different pitch. The male showers and toilets were closed but did not cause any issues. Laundry and washing up facilities were excellent. There is a cafe/restaurant next to the site but we didn't use it and plenty of restaurants around Vesoul. Would definitely stay again.

Could be better: The showers spray out everywhere and then run into the other shower cubicles so the jets and drainage could be improved.

Could be better: We arrived and it said check in was between 12 and 7pm. We got there at 3pm and the office was closed, we were waiting near reception and a car pulled up and a man started shouting verbal abuse in French at us so we left

Liked: Quiet, awkward pitch. Cosideration should be given on muddy sites.

Could be better: Check pitches are suitable fir access.
