Liked: Very friendly, adequate pitch for overnight backing onto the lake. Great find easy access from the motorway.

Could be better: I don’t have any improvements.

Liked: Situation, plots, friendly staff, good restaurant.

Could be better: Toilet facilities we really let down, they were old, very dated and also quite dirty, which spoilt a really good site.

Liked: Very pretty, nice big pitches. Ours was right by the side of the lake and way bigger than we needed! Toilets and showers are plentiful and well kept

Could be better: It would be great if you could always rely on toilet paper being available!

Liked: We have been staying at Camping de Sologne Salbris for over 15 years. We use it as a stopover for when travelling south. It is a lovely site and the restaurant on site has really improved since we came last year.

Could be better: The cleanliness was poor. The toilets were dirty and they seem to swill the toilets with bleach and water rather than wipe everything down. This didn’t remove the dirt on the toilet or flusher and just left pools of water on the floor. My husband got bleach on his shorts. The showers weren’t much better either. The standard of cleanliness has definitely declined since our trip last year which is a shame as it was always so clean

Liked: It’s a nice to walk to the village and down the river/canal. The logis hotel restaurant is excellent It’s possible to explore other areas by train

Could be better: We had to swap the allocated pitch because of the low hanging trees so suggest that height of the vehicle is taken into account when allocating pitches
