Liked: Quiet calm short walk from a small supermarket

Could be better: End of season so nearly empty. Pool was shut after August.

Liked: Individual plots surrounded by hedges

Liked: Een hele leuke simpele camping. Lekker rustig.

Liked: Spacious level pitches shaded by trees; clean showers and toilets; friendly staff; great position in Chaillé-les-Marais. The museum La Maison du Maître des Digues is well worth visiting. Good cycle rides an around the Marais Poitevin are within easy reach. The campsite even offers free canoes.

Could be better: Was looking forward to a swim in the pool, but it was quite smaller than we thought and heaving with people so not very inviting.

Liked: A lovely quiet site with very clean facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Great local cycle routes.
