Liked: We returned for a 2nd time ( last and this summer). I just prefer this campsite to the several campsite we have stayed at in the area. Just so peaceful and tranquil. Perfect for families with young children. We just love the feel of the place. No restaurant or pool, but you don't need it with the village nearby and safe river

Liked: We loved the toys, books, and bikes available to borrow, the trampolines, easy access to river, and short walk to town. Shady private pitches with spotless facilities, free wifi, and essentials supplies from the shop. Perfect campsite.

Liked: Brilliant facilities, extremely well run and organised. Lovely river to swim in.

Liked: Everything about the campsite was perfect. Set in a lovely rural setting by a small river. Short walk to Jumilhac le grand. Excellent facilities.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Camping La Chatonnière, so much so, we extended our stay by 3 nights. Excellent clean facilities. Situated by a small river ( suitable for cooling off ), In a nice rural retreat within a short walk to Jumilhac Le Grand with boulangerie, Chatetcuterie, groceries, restaurant, bar / cafe n pharmacy with shop on site. Perfect for all ages. Not bustling or over crowded. 13 glorious days with several lakes with sandy beaches nearby. Just loved the place n surrounding area. Our 3rd campsite in the Dordogne this summer and the best. Clinton, Chanda, Jodie n Jasmine

Liked: Very well maintained small family campsite. Spacious campplaces, campground next to small river. Option to make a campfire. Many books and games available free of charge. All facilities clean and well maintained.

Liked: Quel camping charmant ! Nous avons passé de superbes vacances avec nos deux enfants (7 et 5 ans). Voici quelques points forts, en vrac : - La jolie petite rivière. Même après ce printemps sec, il y avait largement assez d'eau pour jouer. - La végétation luxuriante du camping ; beaucoup d'ombre, très appréciable pendant la canicule. - Jumilhac : une jolie ville avec un magnifique château accessible à pied. - De nombreuses activités pour les enfants au camping ; c'est calme, ils peuvent donc jouer seuls en toute tranquillité. Beaucoup d'autres enfants avec qui jouer)
