Liked: Nice site with good sized, well defined pitches. Right in the town so we could easily walk to shops & restaurants.

Could be better: Hot water at dish washing sinks wasn't hot.

Liked: First time on this campsite and very pleased with the site

Could be better: Improved directions from auto route going east - a nightmare to find route through the town. Leaving a doodle as it is near a well signed roundabout

Liked: We stayed at this campsite for a few nights on our way south and again going back home. Both these stays were excellant - good facilities, nice people and competitive pricing. We'll definately visit again.

Liked: We arrived on a Monday as we wanted to see the town next day with its market in full flow. The town is lovely and welcoming as was the campsite. It was very close to their closing date but everything was in tip top order. Great showers. 5 minutes to centre of this great town. They’d had some rain but the pitches, even after the long season were good.

Liked: Spacious pitch, very clean facilities, quiet, good location

Could be better: More clothes hooks in the shower and positioned so the clothes don't get wet!

Liked: The location close to the centre of Villedieu-les-Poêles is excellent.

Could be better: Install more electric hook up points, we have a long (25metre) cable but had to borrow an extension lead from reception. There were too many cables stretching across many pitches and access roads. Also, definitely more recycling and rubbish bins are needed!

Could be better: Given pitch number, someone already there. We chose another- told it was already being used but it remained empty. Sent to an unpleasant pitch next to overflowing rubbish bins Once we sorted a decent pitch we had a good stay.
