Liked: Great spot for Verdun town you really couldn’t get any closer . Near to WW1 museums especially the Citadel and Cathedral . Pitch’s ok but some larger outfits would struggle. Our time didn’t allow us to use the pool for cafe . Well used site so a little scruffy, site roads stone and breaking up, place needs a make over . But we would use again for short stay.

Could be better: Resurface the roads around the site especially the wide one along side of the motor home service point. Reception building and those in that area need cleaning or refreshing . More water and electric points.

Liked: Convenient to walk into town to see the main sights.

Liked: The site is close to the town, an easy 25 minute stroll with a number of historical sites both in the town and around the area.

Could be better: Shade around the pool is required

Liked: Everything spaced out, plenty of shade and toilet facilities very clean. Good motorhome services.

Liked: Very nice pitches, quiet site, Verdun centre only 15 minutes easy walk. Very good on site restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.

Could be better: Toilet block was clean at all times but basic, and poorly lit at night.

Liked: A friendly campsite with large pitches divided by hedges and trees. Reception, shop, bar, restaurant and pool available, plus table tennis and children’s play area. Water in washrooms is hot. Easy to book online. Great location for visiting Verdun town and WW1 memorials. A peaceful and enjoyable stay. Start the day with birdsong - including cuckoo.

Liked: The site was close to the town of Verdun so very convenient. The bar and restaurant were good. The price was very reasonable especially with the ACSI camping card discount.

Could be better: The toilet and shower facilities were clean. It would be better if the male and female toilet facilities were separate.

Liked: Lovely site and a great location close to the Town. The staff are very friendly. We would definitely stay again.
