Liked: Good location to walk into Verdun and explore sites linked to WW1. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good to be able to order bread and croissants at the site shop.

Could be better: The site is quite large and another toilet/ shower block at the bottom part of the site would be an improvement.

Liked: What a great site, easy walk into the town. Facilities are very good, decent showers, the pool was great for cooling down and a swim. Had some really nice food in the restaurant too. Bread and croissants to order and a fair little shop for essentials.

Liked: Nicely laid out site with lots of hedging and trees between pitches. Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Swimming pool looked good, but we didn't have time to try it out. Toilet blocks perfectly adequate but a bit out-dated.

Could be better: It was a shame that the gates are locked overnight until 7.30am as we needed to leave well before this to continue our travels. This meant that although we could use all the facilities we had to park our campervan outside on the carpark overnight.

Liked: Good size pitches, grounds well maintained, plenty of toilets and showers all clean. Staff very friendly and helpful Small shop that has everything you may have forgotten. Pool size great with great slides for big and small kids, very clean. Restaurant lovely withgood choices.

Could be better: Attention to a small details.. a few footpaths broken on road behind pool.

Liked: The pitches are huge with privacy hedges. There is sun and also shade from the trees. The swimming pool is lovely and stays open until 10 pm.

Could be better: Allow the showers to be regulated instead of the constant too hot temperature. Umbrellas need to be added around the pool to provide some shade. The water at the washing up areas was too cool to allow for effective washing up.

Liked: The site itself was nice, location was ok, not to far out of the town. The facilities were good but did not get a warm feeling from the owners/staff

Liked: Lovely campsite, well maintained, clean modern sanitary block and welcoming staff. Easy walk into Verdun.

Liked: Clean and well maintained. Pool was lovely. Nice partly shaded pitches. Great location for visiting the war memorials and the town. Friendly staff.

Could be better: The foot wash before entering the pool could have been cleaner and hand sanitizer/ soap is always a welcome addition to any toilets
