Liked: Friendly reception. Convenient location. Only stayed one night this time, but it's close to DDay landing sites, and good beach. Would consider a longer stay.

Could be better: Wir wollten einen Platz reservieren, und wurden an ein Reservierungsportal verwiesen , dort war es nicht möglich die ASCI Card einzusetzen so mussten wir um mindestens 7 Euro mehr pro Tag bezahlen, das finde ich Abzocke, denn wir mussten den ganzen Betrag im Voraus bezahlen und so hatten wir auch keine Möglichkeit die ASCI Card vorzulegen! Also werden wir nie mehr reservieren!!! Ein Mitarbeiter erklärte , daß man ja anrufen hätte können, das haben wir, aber die Dame Sagte das geht nicht und verwies uns aufs Buchungsportal, wo man die Reservierung extra auch noch bezahlt!

Liked: Pew booked would have paid half that with ACSI card if we had just turned up

Liked: The guardian made us feel welcome even though we arrived quite late having made no reservation. The pitches were quite large, and reasonably level, bordered by hedges for privacy. The sanitation blocks were extremely good, and spotlessly clean, accessed by an illuminated press-button code box. There seems to be an over-night parking area for late arrivals off the ferry, but I'm not sure.

Could be better: The guardian advised us the previous evening that, for early morning departures, but after 6:30, the barrier would open automatically on approach. In our case it did not. Panic! We had to get to the port for 7:30. One of us had to use the code box intended for arrivals (on the other side of the barrier) so it was an inconvenience, rather than a catastrophe.

Liked: Bel emplacement

Liked: Good pitches, great location and good surroundings. Lovely goats, nice atmosphere.

Could be better: Reception re-opening at 1400h would be good; strange to have vide chemoir facilities inside the sanitaires.

Liked: This campsite is convenient for us to stop over and visit the local vets before returning to the UK.

Could be better: The front parking for camping cars and caravans is to small when people ar trying to check in and needs to be altered, also some rubbish bins nearer to the beach gate.

Liked: Great pitch sizes, right on the beach. Very good facilities for a camp of this size.

Could be better: Showers a little hotter please.
