Liked: We loved the setting, the peace and quiet and the great sanitary block - extremely clean. The owners are really nice and everything was clear. We also had 4 dogs and no problems

Could be better: The return time before the gate closes is a bit early, maybe it could be extended a little

Liked: Campsite in general was excellent, pitches really well maintained and big. Toilets cleaned every morning, facilities great. Was able to have lovely walks with the dog around the lakes, also lovely you could have the dog off lead at points. Swimming pool and swimming lake were very welcome in such heat. Really enjoyed the fishing and was good that the fishing and swimming lake separate. Caught many fish including a whooper. Restaurant, bar area beautiful setting!! It was also great that you could have the use of kayaks and paddle boards free of charge. Would definitely recommend and be back!!

Could be better: The only improvements I would suggest is making a few camping pitches by the lake if that was possible as we would pay for one. Just found the walk with camping gear a bit hard. Although we were able to order bread it would have been nice to have a little shop with everyday amenities available such as milk, drinks, etc but not a dislike that it wasn’t available. These are just suggestions I would like to see in the future

Liked: Perfect place for fishing, swimming and fun in the water. The toilets and showers are spotless. The food was superb and the owners ate so pleasant and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely time We will return.

Liked: Stunning setting based around two lakes set in peaceful rural countryside. The owners were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Lots of amenities and a great lakeside cafe/bar

Liked: We had an amazing 5 nights at this site. It was very hot and we spent a lot of time around or in the lake. It was a very friendly site with a good mix of nationalities, not too many english, which we like when we go to another country. The facilities were immaculate.

Could be better: We would have just liked the club house to be open a little earlier, it's nice to be able to stroll over for a morning coffee or a lunch time drink. We have a motorhome and try not to have to drive around too much once we have got somewhere and the village, although close, is quite a walk from the pitch as there is a very steep hill down into the site.

Liked: We normally go in September when it is a little quieter but still great.

Liked: The location, the staff, the cleanliness and the site is so picturesque. The two lakes for everyone’s entertainment is lush a swimming pool. This place is a gem and so relaxing. We will be back.

Liked: Pitch sizes are excellent and private. Amenities- excellent and spotlessly clean. Fishing lake, swimming lake, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming pool, Pool inflatable islands for children, Badminton, tables tennis ect. Rentable fishing equipment. Lovely bar/restaurant overlooking the lake. Food delicious. Helpful and friendly owners and staff Ideal for families and couples
