Liked: Facilities very good, beautiful site

Could be better: Has become very expensive over recent years.

Liked: The unspoilt nature of the Chateau and grounds ,the quality of facilities and the sheer frenchness.

Could be better: The amenities block in the woods would benefit from refurbishment.

Liked: Nice set up - clean shower facilities, quiet and nice restaurant and beer for the evening

Liked: Settings / Surrounding are beautiful and great location for ferry port

Could be better: Showers were absolutely freezing and no hot water to wash up in which makes washing pans very difficult

Liked: No electric or water

Could be better: Sign where the water is and electric is

Liked: We love this site and have visited regularly since 1996. I taught my granddaughter to dive in the pool just like her mum did about 30 years ago! The staff always appear happy and are polite and helpful.

Could be better: We love it as it is but the gate to the pool slams quickly!

Liked: the site provided a peaceful setting for our stay in Normandy, the site it superb, with beautiful surroundings and well manager grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well managed.

Liked: It's been many years since were were at Martragny and we love what they've done with the place. This time was just an overnight stay on our way home, but we have since pledged to return for a longer stay. We called in the afternoon to say we were arriving late (car trouble...) but Basile put us immediately at ease and clearly nothing was too much trouble for him: "It is your holiday, please don't worry", he said. Even offered to find us food if the restaurant was closed when we arrived (it wasn't). Great stuff. Tapestry or no, we'll be back!

Liked: Plenty of toilets, showes and washing up facilities

Could be better: Supervise football pitch Very noisy after 22.00

Liked: Very friendly staff and a great location. Nestled amongst mature fruit trees with excellent facilities.

Could be better: Some plugs for the washing up sinks.
