Liked: A really lovely stay with my two grandchilden. Super clean, relaxing and peaceful location on the river in the heart of nature with two excellent swimming pools. Highly recommended.

Liked: We had a great stay, our pitch was nice and shaded and wasn’t too far to the facilities or bar etc. The whole site felt very safe and we were happy for our children (5, and 7) to scoot around on their own.

Could be better: The toilets were very smelly. I saw someone cleaning them one day and she just let the water overflow from the tap and then used a squeegee to push the water out to the drain. They needed a good lot of bleaching! Also the service at the bar was quite slow and we were ignored once for about 10 minutes without any acknowledgment.

Liked: Lovely camping in beautiful surroundings

Could be better: Technically, some things could be improved a litte: some showers didn't work very well, some toilets had blocked toilet paper dispensers, etc. Having a technician walk around and fix these things every now and then could greatly improve this, I think.

Liked: Stayed here for two weeks in one of the older chalets by the river. Great shady site when the sun was hot, pools were great for all the family. Playground is new and substantial, ping pong tables and bouncy castle were well used. The campsite is about 15min walk into Brantome. We didn’t use the river beach as there was bacteria in the water so not advised at the time of our stay. We would definitely recommend this campsite, the toilet/shower facilities were the best we’ve seen so far on a site in France, including hair dryers. Good campsite layout, felt safe with kids exploring independently.

Could be better: A bit more communication about kids & evening activities would have been good, it took us a few days to find the posters. Communal composting for veg scraps would be a welcome addition, we have used these on other sites in France.

Liked: Nice place, nice staff, nice pool.

Could be better: The bathrooms at our end of the campsite were a bit limited.

Liked: The pitches were really nice and it felt secluded, whilst being a busy campsite. The location to Brantôme and the river were excellent. We also liked the games that were provided on one of the nights. It was useful to have a freezer and the bar was nice.

Could be better: The showers and toilets were a bit disorganised and the showers lacked pressure.

Liked: Location near the town and the river. The great reception and team

Liked: We loved the river and the pool, everything was clean and the staff were helpful. Ite a beautiful site and Brantome is lovely.
