Liked: Setting, location and services all excellent

Liked: Large pitches, lots of shade. We'll organised, and facilities very clean. Staff in reception and Bar all very helpful and friendly, and English spoken when required.

Liked: Very friendly staff, much shadow during hot days, wonderful pitches nearby the river, big pitches.

Liked: Stayed for three nights on this beautiful campsite, extremely well run. Spacious pitches, clean toilet / shower block. Swimming pool on site, bar serving home made delicious pizza to takeaway. Beautiful town of Brantome within walking distance. Idyllic setting.

Liked: We stayed here 4 nights, Great pitch by the river, Dave on reception was extremely helpful spoke very good English. They have pizza nights we had one on the first night and it was lovely. The town is about 15 to 20 minutes walk lovely little place plenty of restaurants and there is a small supermarket in the centre

Could be better: None

Liked: We had a very relaxing stay. It was the best designed campsite we have stayed at. The trees and the hedges provided privacy and quiet.

Could be better: Slow broadband, even when we paid for it.

Liked: We had a lovely stay and a nice view of the lovely river. We ate once in the bar. Swimming pool was spectacular, especially to have the luxery of an adult only pool.

Could be better: After a few days the pitches on all sides became occupied and so we were completely trapped as both pitches to our right had cross our pitch to exit so we had nowhere to sit outside of our awning. Bar food was limited and bar lacked use and atmosphere, perhaps because of its location.

Liked: The site is brilliant, staff are super friendly and really helpful. It was great being able to walk or cycle into Brantome

Could be better: Only one very small suggestion, whilst I appreciate wine in a restaurant is usually more expensive doubling the price seems excessive especially when serving for the sport on TV. Otherwise keep doing what your doing!

Liked: Fabulous location and a very warm welcome on arrival. Facilities were generally clean & always hot water. Pool area was lovely & modern with plenty of loungers. Our pitch right by the river on the end of the site was like heaven & so serene. The closeness to the town was fabulous & fresh breads & pastries in the morning was a real bonus.

Could be better: Better understanding of food/restaurant on offer & timings. A beautiful area under utilised.

Liked: Lovely pitches, we were situated near the beach/river area. Washing facilities excellent. Pool good too. Very nice place to stay to visit the beautiful town of Brantome.

Could be better: We ungraded (paying more) to a larger pitch with services when booking online. When I tried to use my ACSI card upon arrival, I was told as I had upgraded, I couldn’t use the card for any discount. Only the basic of pitches were qualified for the ACSI discount. I didn’t say anything, but felt a bit cheated that this didn’t appear to be obvious when booking. Did I miss something??
