Liked: Fabulous location, a nice little stroll to the beautiful village. Plenty of tourist attractions close by, try the ferme auberg just outside town.

Could be better: Not much from our perspective, we were comfortable in our accommodation and enjoyed our meal in the bar.

Liked: This is lovely campsite with much to offer. It’s large, beautifully maintained, pretty flower beds dotted around. Two lovely pools and a great wander round the site with our dog. Fresh bread and pastries available daily. Lovely bar and restaurant too. We stayed in a river fronted lodge which was quiet and very comfortable. The couple who run the site were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Great staff throughout the camp.

Liked: Campsite was very good, we had a pitch with own shower/ kitchen. Excellent location and all staff helpful.

Could be better: The shower/ kitchen hadn’t been checked and the bins needed emptying.

Liked: We intended to stay just 3 nights but ended up staying a week. Really welcoming family run campsite. Pools and facilities spotless and only a 15 minute walk into town. Would highly recommend.

Could be better: Pitches less defined than other sites we have stayed at so felt a slight lack of privacy in comparison…. although our feelings may be tainted by a neighbour who insisted on spreading their belongings out into through ways and pretty much into our pitch, which included playing his electric guitar (with amp) almost against the back of our van!

Liked: A lovely well run site very friendly staff with a great little town of Brantome within easy walking distance well worth a visit we booked for seven nights and stayed for ten need I say more.

Liked: This campsite is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of Brantôme. Just perfect! Stunning riverside setting! So clean! The team are always busy , keeping the facilities spotless! Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools! Lovely cafe/ restaurant on site! Ate there twice. Lovely atmosphere. Huge portions, great food, and reasonably priced. Priscilla and Stefan are fantastic hosts! Friendly, informative, very patient with Brits trying to speak French!! Daily bread and croissants to order! We were so sad to leave here, and will DEFINITELY return! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
