Liked: Friendly owners, peaceful surroundings, beautiful site

Liked: Super clean facilities (hand soap and toilet roll provided!) Wonderful large pitch, really relaxed atmosphere, delicious pizzas on the Friday evening! We loved having the option of visiting the bar and also playing pentanque. Cheryl and Steve are fantastic hosts, super helpful, kind and they made sure that we had the best stay possible. We can’t recommend this campsite enough. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Could be better: Only something tiny (and maybe you already do this and we missed it!)… it would have been lovely to know what times the toilets/showers were being closed for cleaning as we got caught out a couple of times!

Liked: A peaceful site in a beautiful setting, close to rhe river. Lovely swimming pool, small bar, pizzas on Monday and Friday. Very calm and relaxing

Could be better: Shower pressure poor.

Liked: Great situation, large unregimented pitches, fantastic hosts. I have never seen so many butterflies! Peaceful - so much birdsong. Very good Wi-fi - we were quite close to the office/showers etc.

Liked: A lovely site - as much a nature reserve as a camp site! Full of birds and flowers: wild orchids, woodpeckers, redstarts and a resident kingfisher. Great location for visiting the region. Very friendly and helpful owners running a welcoming, cosy and relaxing bar/ bistro with homemade pizza.

Liked: A nice warm welcome from Cheryl and Steve, the owners. The campground is in a beautiful spot, very calm and tranquil at night while we were there with the Nightingale singing. Bread and pastries can be ordered for the following morning.

Liked: We loved this campsite for the peace it offered in beautiful surroundings. Great walks from site, spotlessly clean facilities and run by very hospitable hosts. Bread & croissants can be booked at reception & they also offer pizza & burger nights in bar several times a week but do take supplies with you as nearby village does not have a shop.

Could be better: The only improvement that we felt was needed were repairs to some of the paving surrounding the swimming pool. Pool itself spotlessly clean.

Could be better: Hooks in washing cubicles !

Liked: It’s a nice and quiet campsite, the owners are very nice and welcoming.

Could be better: People tend to drive quite fast over the campsite, to the point where one time one of my children, that was playing on the field had to jump up and run away for a car.
