Liked: The staff is super nice, friendly and helpful. This only will make us come back. The camp is nice, just by the river, has all you need. Facilities are clean and working fine. We enjoyed our visit a lot even eif it was more of a brake from traveling long ways.

Could be better: The pitches has some amount of bark from the trees and might need some leveling and smaller care taking but nothing that made a stay enjoyable. The foodtruck or food possibilities could be little better. To swim in the pool you need special bath clothes that is not aviable in the store for all sizes which meant I could not use it.

Liked: The place is perfectly located. We stayed in a house on the mountain side. Absolutely quiet, and the street separating the two regions of the place doesn’t disturb at all. Hardly any traffic. It’s the ideal starting point to explore Castellane or do a trip to the Canyon. Lots of possibilities. The shop offers everything you need. The houses are very spacious and clean. Staff is very helpful if you need information.

Could be better: Maybe change the gravel on the uphill road to tarmac. It’s slippery at times.

Liked: Staff were amazing. Location was breathtaking. River is cold but great fun. Onside pool was nice and warm. Shop has lots of things. Onside restaurant served great food. Toilets and showers were spotless. Great cleaning. Loved the bee hotel (aka compost bin). Fantastic to watch your food waste disappearing!

Could be better: Charging for card payments under 15 euros was strange. Maybe a thing in france? Free WiFi would be nice. Shop open all day till late.

Liked: A fantastic region for a summer holiday, and a lovely site to base ourselves. There was a lot to do in the region - more than we could fit in - and the Gorge was absolutely stunning. The campsite is the perfect combination of tranquil/natural/beautiful and with activities to entertain a young teenager (riding the river, pool, petanque, table tennis). All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, and the little shop was good for morning bread etc.

Liked: WE enjoyed our stay with beau tidily view on the verdon. Chasteuil is a beautiful village which gives a nice remote feeling. We believed the pool would be opened and were disappointed, probably too early in the season. The grocery didn’t offer much products either for the same reason but that is not what had been communicated.

Liked: Heerlijke vakantie in een mooie omgeving op een nette camping. fijn dat er een zwembad is en de mogelijkheid om in de rivier te zwemmen.

Liked: Camper près de l eau est vraiment formidable, et tout est remarquablement bien pensé dans ce camping, pour permettre un bon séjour. Je le recommande vivement.

Liked: Camping très bien placé en bordure du Verdon avec une bonne végétation - très agréable vu ces canicules fréquentes - camping calme la nuit et nombreuse activités à faire dans le secteur - sans oublier un personnel aimable et agréable

Could be better: Peut-être un peu d'animation en soirée en respectant bien sûr le calme appréciable la nuit de votre établissement - la piscine jusque 20 heures au lieu de 19 heures ???
