Liked: We used this site as the start and finish to our holiday before moving on to it's associated site at Le Lac d'Orient. There are lots of activities for children and a good restaurant/bar to relax in. We appreciated that they gave our son's family and us adjoining sites for our caravans.

Liked: A brilliant campsite for little ones with plenty on offer to keep everyone entertained. Facilities were clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to St Omer and Dennlys parc. Also great distance from Calais port and Rotterdam Europoort. It was useful to have a supermarket only 1km away. We had a fantastic time and won't hesitate to return.

Liked: Loved the on-site restaurant, beer, swimming pools, table tennis, fresh bread in the morning, spacious pitches surrounded by mature trees. Spotless showers and toilets. A fabulous setting.

Could be better: Don’t advertise ice creams throughout the day but put the freezer in the bar area and lecture guests for trying to make a purchase for their child when the bar is closed.

Liked: This was our second stay at this site and we were not disappointed. Very clean with lovely helpful staff. Pools were great for the kids and the park. The bar was great for us adults to enjoy a glass or two of rose wine.

Liked: A relaxing stay, with a large pitch set in a well managed and tranquil site.

Could be better: Swimming pool tiles are very slippery and dangerous.

Could be better: Perhaps have a request in place for less noise after 10pm. We did have one family that were playing music quite loudly late. We asked them to turn it down politely and they did, but having a site rule would hopefully mean that people would be more thoughtful in the first place.

Liked: Bouncy castle, play area, pool, great for families, restaurant and take out food reasonably priced, friendly staff especially at reception, excellent location near port
