Liked: Very nice place to stay, only 30 min from Calais for Eurotunnel. Lovely staff and amenities. Walking distance to the "Blochause" amazing historical site

Could be better: We stayed at the beginning of June which is still classed as low season, so bar and restaurant only open from 6pm on weekends.

Liked: The site facilities (showers & toilets) were excellent and very clean. The restaurant and bar was good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Julian and the reception team spoke excellent English, were very helpful and were lovely people. Grounds are well maintained and the woods are good for a walk if you have a dog. Excellent area for cycling from, the roads are quiet and the countryside and villages are great. There is an excellent boulangerie and patisserie just up the road from the site.

Could be better: Nothing to highlight.

Liked: Ideal stopover for our last night in France before catching the ferry. Safe and secure site within comfortable drive to ferry. Lovely good size pitches. Excellent meal at restaurant. Lovely staff in restaurant.

Could be better: Trim some of the bushes and lower tree branches to enable use of whole pitch 3 and 4. Lovely shower block nearby but toilets at back very dark. Is it possible to have one toilet inside the shower block?

Liked: We have stayed him in the past and will continue to stop at Chateau du Gandspette as we drive from Calais. Lovely large pitches. Always a pleasant welcome on arrival and a friendly restaurant for dinner.

Could be better: We did wait for an hour for our meal but I think the girls forgot to put the order through. Steak on this occasion was very chewy.

Liked: Nice size pitches, good toilet and washing facilities. Nice size pool

Could be better: Showers were initially cold, but this was sorted very quickly by the owner, (boiler problem)

Liked: Lovely campsite, lovely restaurant. Swimming pool. Julien was extremely helpful and kind nothing was too much trouble. Would 100 % recommend.

Liked: Second time staying on this lovely site. Warm welcome and great camping spot. There'a a wooded walking route all around the site so great for dog owners. This site is perfect for a stop off before or after Calais.

Could be better: There is a restaurant on site which is very handy but the food was somewhat uninspiring. My chicken stew was presented as a pile of bones separated from the meat with a watery cream sauce. The side salad had absolutely no dressing on but I was given some when I asked. I'll stick with pizza in future.
