Liked: Excellence from the arrival to the departure and the 5.5 weeks between. We love being here and the manner in which the site is run. Children and very happy and safe, Anne and Eric are always around and I feel relaxed the moment I drive up the tree lined avenue towards the castle

Liked: We loved our previous stay so much we brought back the whole family. We loved the facilities, the atmosphere, the activities. My 9 year old loved going to pick up breakfast from the shop every morning. It felt very safe to let him go alone. I really like the green eco friendly initiatives. I was so pleased to see the swallows again. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The 10pm noise reduction was very well adhered to.

Could be better: It got too hot for our dog. The dog field is great and a small pool would be a great addition in the crazy hot weather. The crepes felt rushed and our stove was too hot so they were burning within seconds of pouring. Last time it was a more leisurely relaxing experience.

Liked: We loved the layout of the site, the pitches are all a really good size with shrubs making them private. The facilities were really good and kept clean. The entertainment was brilliant, just the right amount. It was lovely to have a take away, shop, bar, cafe & restaurant on site. The food was very good in the restaurant. The staff in the Reception were exceptional. We had a really lovely time and would recommend to anyone.

Could be better: The drinks we had were a bit hit and miss. I really liked the Grand cafe creme that i had when we arrived but all subsequent ones I had were either on the cold side or not as nice, especially in the cafe area. Also the G & T's were made with a big bottle of tonic water that was quite often flat when it was poured. The range of drinks for non-drinkers wasn't very good unless you paid extra for the smoothies. Also the cocktails were expensive but not very good.

Liked: Perfect, great family resort that has everything you need. Lovely pool area, lagoon fabulous for the little ones and great food and drink areas . Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Could be better: Only one critique for me , was the bar didn’t stick full sugar coke and due to my intolerance to artificial sugar was unable to drink at the bar .

Liked: The campsite is the most relaxed and welcoming place we visit! The people you meet become lifelong friends and we always can’t wait to return next year.

Could be better: Possibly more water taps in the area we were in

Liked: Every aspect of La Garangeoire works so well. The staff are all helpful, friendly and positive and the owners are always visible and work so hard. The new fountain and splash area addition to the pool area is beautiful and such a lovely relaxing place to still be at the pool but without the hustle and bustle - perfect for those who need somewhere a little more calm. Our teenagers love meeting up with friends they have made in previous years. We just love coming here and I’m sure we will be back next year!

Could be better: We love the bands in the evening and wish there could be more!
