Liked: We stayed with you for one week in 2019 when our girls were only 6 and 4. It was our first camping trip in France and back then we absolutely adored it. Since 2019 we’ve travelled around France to different sites and adapted as our girls have grown. We stayed just one night with you due to the fires in the south as we travelled north to await our next stay. Your site is bar far the most special and looked after we have ever been. We feel like it’s run by real people who care, not the big machine run sites we have stayed at for the last 6 years. Thank you for staying true to your selves.

Liked: The site is friendly, clean, well-staffed and full of things to do. I liked the fact that the owners work hard to reduce the environmental impact of the site and to make it nature-friendly (swallows in our washing up area!). The pool was beautiful and the nearby cafe with cold drinks and ice cream were a wonderful treat after a swim. Our camp spot was a grand pitch - shady with a lovely large wooden table and chairs, which was great. At night the site was quiet and you could sit and watch the bats and the marvellous sunset. My daughter loved the riding - 2 hour rides with a dip in the lake!

Could be better: The fishing equipment needed to be repaired - there was nothing serviceable to hire, which was a shame.

Liked: Everything! Friendly staff, lovely site, great entertainment.

Liked: The staff at reception are the most helpful, friendly and attentive you’ll find. The camping sites are large, private and impeccable with water points everywhere. The facilities, shower and toilet blocks immaculate and it’s soo nice to turn the shower on and off when finished, not to push every 5 seconds!! Original bar is great, shop is great, pool bar can get busy with kids, and pool could be bigger for the number of people on site, but I appreciate it’s 34 degrees and everyone is trying to cool off! The area is stunning with fields do sunflowers.A truly superb site!

Could be better: Pool area could be improved, lagoon is only for little ones, would be lovely to have a swimming lake, struggling to find one in the area!

Could be better: A Lane in covered pool for lengths for few hours a day would be great for those who wish to swim lengths

Liked: Our favourite campsite in France. We have visited 8 times already and booked again for 2026 We love the space, the vast walks. They way the mobiles aren’t crammed together. Love the rustic, easy going charm. Love the staff, seeing a lot of the same people year after year. Love the way the rules are enforced (re speed & noise) which makes a more relaxed experience.

Could be better: A more varied menu in the restaurant. We love eating there but feel the menu is very limited so we tend to go to the restaurant in St Julien more often as they have an amazing menu. It can be crushing when I speak my (admittedly rusty) French to staff at the bar and they keep responding in English. I spent a year in France 27 years ago. I was completely fluent, which is gone now but I really love being able to practice for 3 weeks a year. It’s never an issue at reception, shop, small bar or restaurant just the pool/beer garden bar. Not a big deal but a small thing that would improve a stay

Liked: We enjoyed a lovely two weeks at Garangeoire this summer. The weather was a little unpredictable but there was plenty to do on site. So lovely that aside from a security deposit, the pedalos and canoes are totally free. The mini golf you can play as often as you like, again free. The restaurant is well worth a visit too. The staff on site can't do enough to help.

Could be better: We were camping around the field which was a beautiful spot. Just one suggestion for improvement would be to please add a hand soap dispenser outside the 3 ladies toilets. There is a sink and soap in the men's toilet but only an outdoor tap close to the ladies'.

Liked: We love the atmosphere, the grounds, the facilities, entertainment and the friendly nature of the staff.

Liked: The campsite was exactly what we wanted. It has a laid back feel, is well maintained and has activities to take part in if that's what you want to do. The owners are actively involved in the running of the campsite and it was very evident as you could see how much they cared about the customer experience, and how this fed through to the staff who also cared. We loved the wine tasting night, a really lovely experience. Also, the raft race was great family fun and we created super memories - we'll be back next year with a better raft!

Could be better: The sun loungers were very uncomfortable. Very difficult to lie comfortably without significant layering of towels. It would be good to add more loungers as it was often hard to find an empty one.

Liked: We loved our stay at the campsite. There is so much to do if you want to do it, you can do as much or.as.little as you want. Really friendly staff, great bar area (loved the quiz!). Pitch was great, good size and close to the toilet block. Toilets were generally clean. Swimming pool area was great and clean. The ice cream was delicious!

Could be better: Toilets maybe need updating but they were more than fit for purpose and were cleaned regularly
