Liked: A really enjoyable stay

Liked: We just finished an 8 day stay and loved every minute of it. Our pitch was the nicest pitch we have ever stayed in. Shady, spacious and with great amenities. The range of activities for our 3 children (7,6 and 4) were brilliant. They had the time of their lives. The evening entertainment is fun and varied and they will remember the close friendships and new experiences forever. Us adults also had a great time, lovely restaurant, wine tasting evening and spaces to hang out and enjoy a book We felt it was excellent value for money and appreciated that many activities were free (boating, Lego).

Liked: Such a variety of things to do in such a beautiful, cared for environment with lovely staff. Our 6 year old loved it, making friends and being able to be independent to roam the grounds, it was ideal as a break for all of us. I loved the guided tour Anne, the owner, gave of the grounds, it was fascinating. Hope to be back again next year!

Could be better: Sometimes there are long queues for ice cream or at the bar, sometimes the pool is very crowded

Liked: Once again we had a ball at La Garanageoire. The landscaping is beautiful, the programme of activities so diverse and inclusive, and the overall feeling and atmosphere is so safe and relaxing. What sets La Garangeoire apart is how warm, gentle, kind and engaging all of the staff are. A special word for the animateurs, Daphne, Arthur and Morgane. Our children loved the kids club, activities and all of the evening entertainment. Our little girl absolutely adored Daphne…she is such a thoughtful, kind and considerate person who went out her way to make sure our shy little girl had a great holiday.

Could be better: More air conditioned units and spaces. Unfortunately we fear that these heat waves are likely to become more frequent. We really struggled to sleep and would be reluctant to book a mobile without AC in future. Would also suggest some more umbrellas around the pool.

Liked: Excellent facilities, so clean. Staff were really friendly also.

Liked: Our first family holiday to France & we had the best time at La Garangeoire! Able to get into our accommodation early after a long journey was great, the cabin was lovely & clean & in a great spot! Loved the lagoon & the pool! Our little boy had the time of his life, felt safe to let him roam around & play! The restaurant and take away were great & had plenty of options! The site itself is beautiful, so well looked after & so pretty! We’ll definitely be back!

Could be better: Only one & it’s our fault for not checking but an oven would have been great in our accommodation but wasn’t an issue

Liked: we loved this campsite. we came for 2 weeks, with 5 other families and we had such a great time. we always got sunbeds round the pool, and the lagoon was really nice. the restaurant was really nice food, and the takeaway also had great service. all staff were very friendly and spoke brilliant english. The kids loved the park, horseriding, and we felt safe letting them o to play. The site was also kept quiet after 10:30pm

Could be better: when we initially booked it, we were under the impression that most of the activities would be free, like the kids football club, but they weren't that expensive. My main complaint was the pool sunbeds were so uncomfortable. so much, that I found it better to lay on the artificial grass.

Liked: The cleanliness of the place was really good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The array of activities available for the children was great, the children especially loved the football camp!!

Could be better: Adventure play park/wooden style. Toilet facilities by the pool area to be cleaned more regularly.

Liked: Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good facilities and range of activities that really suited as a family with two young children

Liked: The overall feel of the site was fantastic.

Could be better: We had a few nights where people were very loud and it affected our sleep. So maybe someone doing the rounds and checking noise levels.
