Liked: Lovely location easy to walk into Saumur and drive to other places

Could be better: Tell customers if they wish to eat at the restaurant they need to book a table

Liked: Really nice campsite. Easy cycle distance to Saumur, some on bike track by the Loire, otherwise bike lanes into town. Very nice reception staff. Well stocked basics to buy at reception. Bakery up the road also. We were lucky enough to eat in the campsite one evening for a serve yourself Paella Soirée. Showers and toilets well maintained. Will definitely go back to this campsite. Very relaxed.

Liked: The welcoming staff. The Restaurant location with lovely views across the river. The excellent swimming pool. The private facilities on our pitch.

Could be better: It must be difficult to prioritise work that’ needs doing across the campsite. It’s often small things that need fixing, and attention to detail.

Liked: Nice bar and pool. Facilities clean and well maintained. All the usual available, water, waste, Elsan and EHU, well set out.

Liked: Great location, facilities are all well looked after, placements are spacious, and the pool / view of the chateau are amazing!

Liked: + pool, toilets and showers ok, close to Saumer with 30 minute walk. Saumur is a lovely town. !

Could be better: - we paid for electric and water. No water as it had been boarded up. Went to reception who said they would send a technician and nobody turned up. We were given a pitch right apposite the toilet and 5-6 minute walk from reception and pool. Our pitch was on a sort of island and extremely close to out neighbours. One was out all day and was talking his phone until 1am right outside our window

Liked: Flat pitch in the trees. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. Close to the town.

Liked: Great location and a wonderful camping site. The staff are welcoming and efficient with a quick booking in process. Having an account helps here and I'd recommend having one. The site is in walking distance of the town where there are plenty of places to eat, drink and relax. There is plenty of culture as well. Don't forget the river. So much to see and do.
