Liked: Facilities good if they had all been available, but our stay coincided with the last week of opening and some activities were closed, other curtailed as to days / hours available. The shop which the website says is so well stocked was very limited in fresh produce. Bar not opening until mid day. Kids club only until Thursday. Pitches are a good size but ours had significant mole activity meaning muddy lumps everywhere. Main pool very cold, small number of sun beds. Lake very good. The last night was significantly impacted by the staff partying with loud music until 3 am

Could be better: If the site is advertised as open then ensure all facilities are available and dont make guests feel that you are clearing up and cant wait for them to leave to do so. Had all facilities been available all week rating would have been higher. Suggest you dont stay in the last week before they close ( which this year was 29th August - very early)

Liked: All staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool looks good but it was too crowded for us to use (it is a fair size but is smaller than it looks on the website) - we used the lake instead which was nice. There is lots for families to do here, and we found nice walks through the woodland. The parc should do more with this feature, perhaps create more cycle friendly routes around the woodland. The parc has a business room where you can remote work for free. This is a good feature that more campsites should adopt. It would be good if more was done (shop and Restaurant) for gluten free needs.

Could be better: The site is very remote and there are virtually no transport links - a car is really needed to get around. We used a taxi once but was ripped off.

Liked: We stayed on a pitch with private sanitation and it was a welcome change and added comfort to our stay. The site needs more of these as many people would use them. The site was very quite, when we visited in 2025 almost all pitches were taken, this year maybe 50% only but possibly once UK schools break up for summer there will be many more tourist.

Could be better: This site is lovely it has many good qualities however and this has really made a difference to our future plans. 1) The bar area outside was dirty the tables had left over food on them pizza boxes glasses and the area was dirty and not at all pleasant. 2) There is insufficient staff in the bar, queues for drinks was ridiculous long and staff just unprofessional standing around and just badly run. None of the staff clear or clean the tables so you end up having to take used glasses into the bar to sit at a table. The restaurant was even worse the food was good the staff and cleanliness POOR

Liked: The reception was pleasant and welcoming, the club house was excellent and staff very helpful especially the young lady who managed to get the Formula one on the large tv for us. The bistro and staff were very nice and the supermarket was well stocked, the sanitary facilities were clean and plenty of hot water.

Could be better: Pitches need to be mowed before guests arrive and some trees/hedges need trimming back

Liked: Everything about the site is perfect from the greeting from Madeleine in reception to our Caravan site number 17. The facilities are spotlessly clean. Pool are is lovely with plenty of loungers. Would highly recommend so much so we are going to extend our stay.

Could be better: None

Liked: Campsite had bird song.

Could be better: Toilets need cleaning. The notice board shows the toilets were cleaned a day before we arrived and were not cleaned during out two night stay!

Liked: We have stayed at Parc de Fierbois many times. This stay was equally as enjoyable as the others.

Liked: The pool, size of the pitches we stayed in our motorhome. The lodges were really well designed (our daughter, her husband and children were also on the site. The wash and toilet facilities are probably the best I've ever seen on a campsite.

Could be better: The rubbish and recycling bins were in a very inconvenient place for such a large site. The restaurant was closed for most of our visit

Liked: Big site with different areas to explore

Could be better: Site vehicles noisy passing our accommodation regularly
