Liked: We love coming back to this friendly resort. It’s just the right size and not too busy. The location in the Vendée is stunning and it’s what we love- the beach (amazing sunsets) and the pine woods and miles of bike tracks. This time we stayed in a Villa Lounge which had everything we needed. The pool is always fantastic and it was great to use the sauna and hammam this time! The boys also used the gym which they enjoyed.

Could be better: Maybe for the sauna and hammam to be open for a couple of hours in the morning?

Liked: The peacefulness of this campsite is amazing, with beautiful accommodations for all. They have a lovely sauna & steam room with a gym to go with it. With the vendee area to cycle around on your doorstep it is just beautiful if your looking for hustle and bustle with children’s play area’s with pool’s and slides this is not the site for you. The pool and jacuzzi is brilliant never full and ample sunbeds.. The family owned campsite can’t do enough to please the holiday maker and make there stay most enjoyable…

Liked: We loved our break at Camping la foret. It's incredible what the owners have done and so inspiring. It was a great place for our children's cycling and swimming. The other guests were lovely too as were those working on the site.

Could be better: The mattresses in the villa did not quite feel up to the same standard of everything else. Our sleep suffered a bit because of it. If we could have had a harder mattress would have been perfect

Liked: Again welcomed to the beautiful Camping la Foret by the amazing friendly team! Wonderful relaxing time in a beautiful, calm, very clean and well-run site.

Could be better: The plancha is not great

Liked: Came back after visiting the site many years ago and the changes are wonderful. Beautiful villas in a quiet environment surrounded by flowers, grasses and trees, with access to a lovely pool/spa and an almost deserted beach around 500 meters away. The owners were as always welcoming and attentive and provided the option of lovely food for breakfast and dinner which we ate most days. A wonderful relaxing stay - we will be back…

Liked: Clean well tidyed site. Great staff who were uber friendly. Air of quality and a very good location.

Could be better: The interenet was poor and kept dropping out.

Liked: The calm, the pool area & the villa we stayed in. Very good with the separate toilet and shower room when you stayed four people in it

Could be better: The mattresses are fine but a bit hard. Hurt our backs a bit.

Liked: The general ambience and peaceful surroundings, the fact it is pedestrianised. The pool area is lovely and the bakery service is excellent. The garden was a lovely size and was pretty much self contained. The EV Charging was a bonus and the location so close to the beach is excellent.

Liked: Private accommodation (very little vis-a vis) with garden that offered both sun and shade at most times of the day. It was great having our own private jacuzzi. The size of the site and the quality of the service and materials provided and the aftercare from the family run team was perfect. They responded very quickly when we had any issues or needs. Good to have dedicated parking spot with the rest of the site car free. We stayed 6 nights and travelled with our small dog so good to have the trolleys for luggage. Pool was excellent and always sun loungers available.
