Liked: Wonderful location with plenty to see & discover. Everywhere we visited was reasonably priced. Campsite kept to a very high standard. Toilets / showers etc, always clean. The pitch we had was a very generous size & private enough.

Could be better: Tiny niggle. Having read a sign on the door of the restaurant / bar closing at 10, my daughter & I turned up around 9.15 for food. By the staff left in there, we were told food had finished around 8.30 & usually did. I pointed out the sign on the door to be met with bewilderment. The sign was still there days later. The menu itself seemed very unappetising as though no one could be bothered. Meat with house sauce was one option ! Fortunately, plenty of places close by for us to dine, which we did...

Liked: Pitch size was enormous and private shower/toilet/kitchen a welcome addition Pool an added bonus too Village of Montserau a bit of a disappointment as shops/businesses shut on a Mon/Tues so we couldn’t eat out Nice flat cycle route into Samir

Could be better: Mention there is a fridge on webpage under superior pitch and take some photos of the toilet block too to inform future guests

Liked: The best place to camp right beside Monsereau

Liked: As usual the welcome was great. We had paid, this time, for a Loire view and were very happy with our pitch. As usual all the facilities were clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed cooling down in the pool and liked the extension to the bar/restaurant which certainly met all our expectations with lovely staff and excellent service. All in all another lovely stay, we will certainly be back at some point.

Could be better: Perhaps a small poster showing opening times of the village shops might be helpful.

Liked: Reception staff very helpful with ancillaries that we had not packed. Although not most picturesque of locations the facilities and local area outstanding.

Could be better: Cleanliness of showers, in need of a deep clean. Adults only swim session. Food on the poor side.

Liked: Great location, a friendly atmosphere with excellent staff that could have not been more helpful. Very good sized pitches. Family friendly.
