Liked: All facilities good, plenty of hot water at showers and wash up, friendly and hard working staff, are a credit, great restaurant which we used twice

Liked: Lovely site perfect place to explore the area brilliant cycle path to Saumur unfortunately didn’t try the restaurant as was fully booked

Liked: Very large & sunny pitch right next to The Loire. Easy access to Loire a Velo and some great cycle routes. Very nice restaurant; warm welcome & great service. Lovely pool.

Could be better: Nothing

Liked: We returned after a three year break and stayed in one of the cottages (as we had sold our campervan). The site is as good as we remembered. The morning wine tour with the site owner was fun and informative.

Liked: Very friendly owner, clean, well laid out, has everything you need including restaurant/bar and pool. Based in a lovely french village with bars, restaurants, bakery, butchers. Great base for cycling or visiting the local chateaus.

Could be better: We learned that the showers/toilets are being upgraded which we think will make the necesssry improvement to the site (although they still work efficiently)

Liked: Perfect location and lovely clean facilities.

Could be better: Open all year maybe?

Liked: Lovely, clean site situated in a very, pretty village on the bank of the Loire offering wine tasting tours and other activities. Some pitches have their own toilet/shower and kitchen cabins plus picnic table and benches. Only downside is the proximity of showerblock and toilets to the pool.

Could be better: Mend the toilet next to the pool. Provide more fully serviced (premium) pitches rather than the cabins, which take up a lot of room if you have a caravan and awning and car.

Liked: Great location. Alongside the Loire and next to Montsoreau. Good facilities. Pool. Restaurant, bar. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good sized pitches. Some fully serviced. Some with private facilities. We had one with our own facilities. With shower, toilet, fridge, sink etc. would always want to book one now. This is our second time here and we have already booked to come back next year. We could not recommend it enough.

Could be better: Our pitch was quite uneven. It could do with levelling off. Closing the office for two hours at lunchtime creates a build up of people and traffic which could cause congestion on the road. Maybe having a staggered lunch break would help.

Liked: Lovely site located on the banks of the Loire. Walking distance to local cafes and restaurants in Montsoreau. Direct access to Loire Cycle Path. On site Bar and Restaurant (very limited menu but quality good) Nice size swimming pool.

Could be better: One or two issues that might be improved, cleaning of the scum line around the pool edge, inside of toilet cubicle doors and area around hand wash sink.

Liked: We had a great pitch on the side of the river which was well worth paying a small supplement for. No real shop in the village so arrive with provisions for your stay. But in the heart of glorious villages. Restaurants and vineyards

Could be better: Facilities are clean but dated. Hard to clean shower as nowhere to drain
