Liked: Lovely campsite on the banks of the Loire river with an easy walk to the village with good hotels and a small supermarket

Liked: Superb location on the south bank of the Loire. Small Montsoreau village provides lovely bakery, butchers, restaurants and basic mini supermarket- but take note of opening times. Great for cycling - we went to Saumur and Fontevraud - site borders Loire à Vélo path. Site well maintained, good shade with very helpful staff. Mix of motorhomes, caravans, tents plus cabins for cyclists etc. Even mix of Brits, French, Dutch with some other Europeans when we were there in July. We would happily return

Could be better: Limited number of loungers around pool Minor point - shower floors slippery

Liked: Such a lovely site, so clean and friendly with a good restaurant and great views of the Loire

Could be better: It would be helpful for the recycling to be emptied more frequently.

Liked: Loved the location & ambience of campsite; lovely walk into village & it's amenities Friendly & efficient staff( nothing too much trouble.) Whole campsite & gardens attractive & well kept.+ many surprising touches ( hens; fitness equipment; side gates) Loved the variety of accommodation & special thought given to cyclists.( Excellent idea) plus as former caravaners,.the size of pitches ! .Well designed bar/ restaurant/ pool area. + Choice & quality of food ....Everything was much better than expected Appreciated "Welcome Pack" & Folder . 10/10 . Website not do you justice!

Liked: Beautiful well kept clean site,reception staff very helpful and friendly, pool was lovely ,had a lovely holiday and definitely coming back

Liked: This site is run and managed professionally as attention to detail is obvious. Good location to explore the local area which has many places of interest

Could be better: The turning circles for manoeuvring long motorhomes or caravans can be tight depending on the pitch allocated.

Liked: The Montsoreau location is perfect for a taste of real France. The village is homely, friendly and has a constant passage of Loire exploristes.
