Liked: Campsite is set In fabulous location beautiful kept Lovely staff great restaurant on site with locally sourced produce. If you like cycling this definitely a must as cycle route on the door step

Liked: The view is wonderful, right on the banks of the Loire. The town is very convenient and provides a typical French rural experience. The site has a great swimming pool and everything is clean and well maintained. One of the best sites we have stayed on, and we have stayed on a lot.

Could be better: It would be nice to have some toilet and shower facilities at the furthest ends of the campsite

Liked: Loved the location & ambience of campsite; lovely walk into village & it's amenities Friendly & efficient staff( nothing too much trouble.) Whole campsite & gardens attractive & well kept.+ many surprising touches ( hens; fitness equipment; side gates) Loved the variety of accommodation & special thought given to cyclists.( Excellent idea) plus as former caravaners,.the size of pitches ! .Well designed bar/ restaurant/ pool area. + Choice & quality of food ....Everything was much better than expected Appreciated "Welcome Pack" & Folder . 10/10 . Website not do you justice!

Liked: Lovely shaded spots right on the river Loire in a great location for the local town. Really friendly reception and other staff always said hello. Well kept site with a great pool and even an outdoor set of gym machines. Easy access to walk along the river, would recommend having access to car or bike to explore further afield. Really enjoyed my stay here, felt extremely relaxed.

Could be better: Ladies toilets a bit dated and smelly although they were clean.

Liked: This site is run and managed professionally as attention to detail is obvious. Good location to explore the local area which has many places of interest

Could be better: The turning circles for manoeuvring long motorhomes or caravans can be tight depending on the pitch allocated.

Liked: Location was good - easy walk to Montsoreau with great restaurants nearby, and easy drive into Saumur. Plots are nearly level, so easy to get the motor home even. Nice and quiet at night. Reasonable value for money (except the Wi-Fi)

Could be better: Wi-Fi was patchy/slow - not good enough as you have to pay extra per device. Showers not always hot. Entrance around the barriers was a bit tight. Plots were a bit tight - could have been roomier.
