Liked: Second visit to this lovely site very clean welcoming staff lovely size pitch we will most definitely be back

Could be better: Warner shower later at night as water seems to cool down later in the evening but this would not stop Us returning.

Liked: Lovely campsite on the banks of the Loire river with an easy walk to the village with good hotels and a small supermarket

Liked: The team - Hervé, Clément and all the other hard workers. Nothing was any trouble. Lovely clean tidy site with great pitches by the river. So quiet. Lots of lovely flowers and gardens. Nice pool & restaurant. Good activities. A good policy to be quiet and no cars after 10.30pm and before 7.30am

Could be better: WiFi did not work very well. Maybe a policy to tell children not to put their things on the sun beds and provide some shelving to put their things on. Otherwise they ‘reserve’ the beds and spend the whole time in the pool meaning that adults can’t always get a bed.

Liked: Superb location on the south bank of the Loire. Small Montsoreau village provides lovely bakery, butchers, restaurants and basic mini supermarket- but take note of opening times. Great for cycling - we went to Saumur and Fontevraud - site borders Loire à Vélo path. Site well maintained, good shade with very helpful staff. Mix of motorhomes, caravans, tents plus cabins for cyclists etc. Even mix of Brits, French, Dutch with some other Europeans when we were there in July. We would happily return

Could be better: Limited number of loungers around pool Minor point - shower floors slippery

Liked: We loved the site, pitches were spacious, felt very safe, loved the recycling facilities - very important to us. The playground was fabulous and the pool was perfect 🥰

Could be better: Maybe a little more environmental stimulation for the lovely chickens - a few more things for them to do/climb on etc would help them with boredom and pecking each other.
