Liked: We have stayed many times here , the campsite and facilities are superb

Could be better: Maybe more parasols around the pool area

Liked: This was our first visit to L'Isle Verte . It is a very efficiently run & pleasant campsite right on the banks of the Loire. Conveniently placed in the village, near to shops, cafes & restaurants.

Could be better: Bread can be ordered the day before but it would be good to have a few basic items available, such as water and milk, for visitors who arrive late after a long journey and are unable to get to a shop in time. The exit barrier is controlled by computer and we were not able to leave our car inside the campsite after our departure time ( to get breakfast with friends) despite the fact that I am disabled and unable to walk to the exit.

Liked: Location, service facilities all excellent, lovely swimming pool and nice bar / restaurant. Good access to Riverside footpath for dog walk. Most of all a peaceful ambience and lovely flowers planted around. I just feel at home there.

Could be better: The bar was closed between 12 and 2pm and it would have been nice sometimes to have a beer then.

Liked: Everything from our welcome at reception to departure was excellent. Pitches a good size. The pool was nice & clean. Had a lovely meal in the on site bar & restaurant, very well priced, staff always very pleasant. Would definitely recommend

Could be better: Too crowded- too many vans- noisy pitch with mechanical pump running 24/7 just next to us. No view of river.

Liked: This was the second time we stayed at this lovely site and it didn't disappoint. The location is perfect and it has everything you want and need. Its also very picturesque along the banks of the Loire and great value for price. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are very clean as is the swimming pool. We also used the restaurant which again was excellent food and value for money. Didn't want to leave. We will be returning.

Could be better: Nothing needs changing.
