Liked: Possible to walk into Quimper with fantastic cathedral. Laundry facilities were challenging and tiresome as card machine did not work and it was quite a walk to reception and back - twice! Once for the washing machine and once again for the tumble dryer. The showers were wonderful but some toilet seats were missing in the separate toilets and soap dispensers in the 2 hand washing sinks were empty. It would be helpful to be asked if we wanted pitches with or without sun as our allocated pitch had no sun at any time of day and some electric sockets were a bit of a distance.

Liked: Quiet, spacious and pretty. Shower and toilet facilities excellent.

Could be better: Open the pool earlier than 10:00

Liked: Such beautiful grounds make this our go to campsite in Brittany. It is lovely to spend time walking around the chateau grounds and woodlands. Pitches are good, the swimming pools are lovely. All a great experience

Could be better: The internet could be better. A few spare baguettes available for those who have not ordered.

Liked: Warm welcome at the reception and quiet nice pitches with green surrounding a bit like jungle feeling. Sanitary was really clean which is unusual for frech campsites, thanks to the Team!

Could be better: Nothing to declare!

Liked: We loved the individual cabins each containing a toilet, a shower and a sink

Could be better: The signage for the walk around the site could be better

Liked: Very friendly reception staff, great size pitch, fantastic gardens and activities, beautifully kept, peaceful surroundings I’d definitely recommend to others for a special treat

Could be better: We booked a pitch with its own services and the fridge door fell off every time we opening it! Had it put back on by a technician but it kept falling off and we managed to get it back on its hinges ourselves with a kitchen knife! Needs replacing!

Liked: We had a pitch with a shower and toilet on it, the pitch was huge and the facilities brilliant. We wished we could have stayed longer as the Orangery was so beautiful, who would have known that such superb setting was right next to the main road and it was so quiet on site . We spent one evening feeding cashews to a very friendly Robin. We will have to come back.

Could be better: Maybe the few potholes but they were only a minor problem.

Liked: Good, safe and easy cycle route into Quimper. Good wifi

Could be better: Grass very long on pitches Very noisy from building works - men shouting and radio Power supply difficult to attach to as connectors pins rusty and difficult to push our plug into (never ever happened before) Indoor pool dangerous due to lack of handrail to assist entry and a ledge 150mm under the water at one end which cannot be seen when swimming plus no signs Toilet/shower area much too far away for many campers pitches (5-7 mins walk), only warm water, no power or lights, no shower cubicle locks working, all electric not working 1 day Snack bar closed most of time

Liked: Really liked proximity to Quimper. We cycled from the site to town centre along paths and quiet, safe roads in about 15 minutes. Walked in again for dinner along same route and took 35 minutes. 9-hole golf course on site with a discount if staying there. A mix of par 3 and par 4 holes - not very challenging but great for a holiday round. 18 holes for €35 (twice round). The pool complex is one of the largest we’ve seen and is nicely split into different areas. We were the only ones using the pool (hardy Scots). Quimper itself was really nice and we will definitely return again

Could be better: Restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday.

Liked: The greenery, the well-ordered cleanliness
