Liked: 5th time visiting Chanteloupe, perfect French relaxing holiday doing traditional things and spending quality time with family.

Could be better: How about an Electric Vehicle charging point?

Liked: The grounds, facilities in the chateau, playground and pool were all wonderful. We really enjoyed the activities put on, and the whole campsite had a lovely relaxed vibe. The kids felt safe exploring and making friends, the restaurant and shop were just what needed. It felt very special.

Could be better: There was a loud generator noise near our pitch from 10.30pm until 4am, it did really impact our sleep. The girl on reception was grumpy with us on arrival. It was raining until quiet late and we had an awful time as arrived with a wet tent after taking it down in the rain, the journey had taken far longer than anticipated. We enquired if any of the glamping options were available for a night so we could rest and put up our tent in better weather the next day and were told no - but realised there were quiet a few empty the whole week.

Liked: Stunning grounds, the Château is just beautiful. The campsite is tranquil, but there is enough going on. Facilities clean and modern. Restaurant on site brilliant. Our children loved the park and pool. We loved being able to sit on the lawn in front of the Château with an Aperol Spritz whilst the children played next to us on the field with new friends they had made. The site felt really safe and family friendly. Would recommend wholeheartedly- although half of me wants to keep this hidden gem to myself. Thank you.

Liked: Wonderful. This is the second time we have stayed. The staff go the extra distance to make you feel welcome and the campsite itself is just perfect. We will return.

Could be better: None I can think of.

Liked: Beautiful setting, well organised without feeling commercial. Lots for kids to do, plus lovely bar for the grown ups! The staff were great, and their warmth was felt everywhere.

Could be better: Never managed to get the WiFi to work!

Liked: Such a beautiful site, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Lots of nice things to do on the cheateau grounds. We took part in the quiz night, it was so much fun and they make everyone feel included

Could be better: as it was so hot, the pool was extremely busy but this is not the sites fault.

Liked: Another perfect stay at Chanteloup! It gets better every year. See you again this time next year!

Liked: Fantastic facilities, beautiful setting, great atmosphere, and lots of things to do! A really family-friendly site, where children are safe to explore and make friends.

Could be better: Our pitch was very sandy (it got everywhere!)

Liked: A lovely campsite with everything you need.

Could be better: We stayed in the woods which is peaceful but the sand is a muddy dirty sandy making it difficult to keep everything clean. It rained and went everywhere the children's entertainers need more energy to engage the children. They seem unexperienced so the children are quite shy. They enjoy the games but soon get bored as need to mix up the activities more.
