Liked: Super site with lovely facilities

Could be better: More showers in the smaller toilet block

Liked: We stayed on the potager field which was lovely. We could pick courgettes and mint was everywhere and smelt wonderful. The site is really clean and beautiful.

Could be better: It was quite a walk to the main showers. The pool area seemed a little tired and there weren't enough beds and umbrellas.

Liked: This was the third we stayed here as a great stopover for a few days before or after port. Staff very friendly and helpful and loved the La Mans vibe this time

Could be better: Wish there was a rail into pool to assist Shame the toilets far away as my husband has mobility issues

Liked: We have staged at Chanteloup 4 times. Beautiful site with the most friendly staff. Makes an excellent stop on way south or a great destination in itself. Also close to a fantastic E LeClerc in Le Mans

Liked: This site offers something for most campers, from secluded woodland pitches to open pitches around the main house. The facilities were high quality. Most importantly for us, there were extensive grounds in which to walk and exercise our dog. The bar and outdoor seating areas were excellent, so much so that we just had to watch the European Cup with quite a few very tasty Aperols (just as well as England lost!)! During high season, there are numerous activities for campers of all ages to enjoy. While we did not use it, the restaurant menu looked very good. Well-stocked shop also.

Liked: Lovely site, well managed, everything you need, we only stayed 1 night and wished we had stayed longer.

Could be better: None that we saw

Liked: We have been coming here for years and despite missing Dominique & Jean-William we feel that the new owners (Benoit & Valerie - 3 years now !) have kept it to the high stands from before and have even improved quite a few of the facilities

Could be better: Only because I work from the motorhome the wifi could be a bit more stable!

Liked: There is a great atmosphere when you arrive at this site. It was our third visit and although we booked high season and last minute they managed to give me my favourite spot in the woods!!! So kind and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant two nights and the food was very good and service excellent. This is a lovely well run site with everything you need. Perfect!
