Liked: Really lovely spacious pitch in the woods. I would definitely request pitch 15 next year! Great amenities. Particularly like the music in the toilets! Makes the experience a bit more muffled! Loved the get together bbq. Very kind of you to host. Beautiful pool and grounds. Lovely planting. And lovely friendly and helpful staff. Spot on!

Could be better: We dinner at the restaurant both nights of our stay. The staff are literally running to and from the kitchen with the food and the whole experience was rushed and not enjoyable. The choice white wine by the glass was poor - both options being more akin to sweet dessert wine. It’ was not a relaxing dinning experience. They restaurant is understaffed.

Liked: Lovely peaceful location, love that the pitches are overlooking green spaces. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

Could be better: Make the recycling more clear.

Liked: The surroundings and locality, the very friendly, warm staff, the bar and restaurant/bakery options for food and drink, the pool is absolutely lovely! The communal bbq was also a big hit!

Could be better: Only tiny ones - mainly to do with the taps and showers. The taps are very hard to work as they are sensors and they just don’t work well which is frustrating when cleaning teeth! Similarly the showers are so short lived because they are timed. I appreciate environmental reasons but it would be good, given the price of the site to have slightly better showers and WiFi.

Liked: What an amazing site. Admittedly we had lovely weather but the surrounding grounds are spectacular. The swimming was just the right size, the restaurant was staffed by lovely people and we were also able to wash some clothes. Excellent.

Could be better: My wife is celiac and more gluten free and vegetarian options at the restaurant would have been welcome.

Liked: I particularly love the peace and quiet that Chanteloup provides and the events they ‘lock’ into for you to enjoy if you wish.

Liked: Great pitches, beautiful surroundings, very pleasant helpful staff.

Could be better: Only one very small point. Tonic for a gin and tonic came from big bottles and was sometimes flat. Should have individual bottles/cans.

Liked: The pitches are spacious, sanitary facilities plentiful and clean, beautiful pool area and good games facilities.

Could be better: The grass needs to be shorter particularly by the fitness equipment and badminton court. Some trees and hedges could do with trimming. The shop could do so well if it stocked more goods.

Liked: The place was fab we stayed 2 nights on way south then 3 nights on way back we will stay definitely again lovely staff beautifully kept great gaff cheers everyone there regards Rory and Linda

Liked: I have been coming to Chateau de Chanteloup for 10 years and it is one of my favourite places to stay. Normally I would have camped but decided to glamp in the comfortable bell tents.this time. The beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have a well equipped outdoor kitchen . The facilities at the Chateau are lovely , the swimming pool, table tennis, chill out areas, a cozy bar and a lovely bistro with wonderful food. There are bikes on site too.The baker comes to the Chateau in the morning, a real treat. The Chateau and garden areas are just beautiful and the staff very friendly
